Goldmyer Hot Springs Conditions Dec 26th, 2008

There is currently about 2-1/2 feet of snow at Goldmyer. The entire stretch of road is snow covered and is not plowed.  We haven't seen any visitors since 12-19. We don't know for sure what the road is like.... we will be making a scouting trip up there this week-end, but meanwhile we don't know what to say except: Don't take lightly the concept of 'being prepared'.  Don't even try to head towards Goldmyer unless you have a high clearance vehicle with good tires and 4-wheel drive, tire chains, snow shovels, work gloves, an axe or something to cut a tree out should there be one down across the road, snowshoes or xxskis, a desire for adventure, and a bunch of common sense!
