Man vs Wild: How to Survive Falling into a Frozen Lake

Man versus Wild, the episde where he gets dropped off in the Alps and has to find his way to civilization through winter snow. I personally think the guy is an idiot, but the show does make for some entertaining viewing and there is some good information to be gleaned . . . perhaps from this clip that it is often warmer to be naked in cold weather than to continue to wear wet clothes.

Two years ago I fell through a weakened snow bridge on one of my hikes and found that my body warmed up appreciably faster than if I'd been forced to wear soaked clothing. I also remember the rubbing with snow trick from USAF survival training.
